KERAFIX® 2000 is a high-performance, flexible and heat-resistant insulating material designed specially for applications that require both thermal insulation and fire protection. Produced from soluble mineral fibres, it offers a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional ceramic fibres, as it is asbestos-free and does not contain irritant fibres. The material is extremely lightweight and easy to handle and can be cut, punched or bent into a variety of shapes to meet complex requirements.

Fields of application

Sealing and protection for fire-resistant doors and ventilation flaps
Protecting lock cases, door locks and panic door locking systems
Insulating and sealing household and heating appliances
Thermal protection and soundproofing in applications such as lift doors or in transport and shipping
Non-combustible substrate for seals for fire-resistant glazing elements
Used to improve thermal insulation in fire-resistant constructions
