The Complete Exidor 285 Rebated Double Doorset
The Exidor 285 double door set is an emergency exit door solution for rebated double doors. The package consists of a panic latch (296), a panic bolt (294), and a box keep (300). On the active leaf, the latch bolt is retracted by pressing the horizontal bar, while the passive leaf uses shoot bolts that automatically re-engage when the doors are closed. This provides reliable, multi-point security and ease of egress.

Exidor 285 Fire Rated Panic Push Bars
The robust, non handed surface mounted unit is fire rated for timber doors up to FD120 and metal doors up to FD240, and is suitable for door sizes up to 2440mm high and 1220mm wide. Its closed arm push bar design is easily cut to size on-site, offering flexibility for a range of applications.
Exidor Panic Door Hardware Tested and Certified for Compliance
The Exidor 285 is CE marked, UKCA marked, and Certifire approved, having been tested to BS EN 1125 and BS EN 1634-1 standards. Supplied with timber fixings and keeps, it supports door thicknesses from 46mm to 51mm and door weights up to 200kg.
The Wider Exidor Range
To maintain certification, only approved Exidor outside access devices (OADs) should be used. These are available with either a knob or lever operation, ensuring secure and compliant external access.
For installations requiring EN 179 compliance, Exidor also offers the 297 push pad and the 306 unit, which includes a mortice night latch case.
